Cefpodoxime Proxetil 100.00 mg/5ml

Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.

Used to treat the bacterial infections, gonorrhea, tonsillitis, pneumonia, and bronchitis.

Diarrhea, vomiting, or headache, swelling of the ankles/feet, tiredness, fast heartbeat, fever, dark urine, and yellowing eyes/skin .

Avoids if patients are allergic to Cefpodoxime. Discontinue Cefpodoxime and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
