Atorvastatin 20.00 mg

Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication. It works by blocking an enzyme that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Used to treat high cholestrol level and lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke in diabetes mellitus and heart patients.

Liver problems, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, breathing problems, and skin rashes or itching.

Avoid if patients are allergic to Atrovastatin. Avoid if patients have liver or kidney disease or those who consume alcohol.
