• Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a probiotic. Lactobacillus is a type of bacteria. It works by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
• There are lots of different species of lactobacillus. These are "friendly" bacteria that normally live in our digestive, urinary, and genital systems without causing disease. Lactobacillus is also in some fermented foods like yogurt and in dietary supplements.
• Lactobacillus is taken by mouth to treat and prevent diarrhea,

• Lactobacillus used to treat diarrhea caused due to infections, antibiotics, travel, chemotherapy, etc.
• It may also be used for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, bacterial vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, etc.
• This supplement is not recommended for use in immunocompromised patients and in patients with gastrointestinal perforations.

• Avoid taking Lactobacillus along with steroids (medications that weaken the immune system) as they might increase the chances of getting sick.
• Take Lactobacillus at least 2 hours before or after antibiotics. This is because taking Lactobacillus along with the antibiotics can reduce their effectiveness. 
• This supplement is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless necessary. 

Amoxicillin is a penicillin- antibiotic. This antibiotic belongs to a specific class of drugs called beta-lactams. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
 

• Amoxicillin alone is indicated to treat susceptible bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, genitourinary tract, skin, skin structure, and lower respiratory tract.
• Amoxicillin is given with calvulanic acid to treat acute bacterial sinusitis, community acquired pneumonia, lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, skin and skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections.
• Medical providers may also prescribe it with other drugs to treat stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori bacteria.

• Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
• Amoxicillin doesn’t work against the flu, colds or other viral infections, and taking amoxicillin and other antibiotics for these illnesses increases the risk of developing antibiotic-resistant infections.
