"To create happiness outside, you must cultivate happiness inside.
To create richness outside, you must cultivate it inside."
Doctors claim that most of the diseases presently are psychosomatic, i.e. mind sickening the body. In today’s world, health is no longer being determined by the physical illness. Rather, it is a projection of one’s personality as a whole. The moment word ‘well-being’ comes into play, it makes the entire aspect very holistic and the spectrum of health very wide. This makes us think, what actually human body constitutes of. Human body is not limited to the physical dimension. ‘Well-being’ brings emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual dimensions in the forefront.
Evolution has always been a much talked about topic, but we need to ponder on where this evolution is happening actually. In the external shape of human body, evolution is very slow, maybe something noticeable in millions of years. Yogic science takes a different turn and says that evolution is indeed happening in the manas (mind), buddhi (intellect), chitt (consciousness) and ahankar (ego). For the healthy evolution of these, they suggest a person to meditate.
Meditation transforms a continuous thinking mind into a feeling mind. The continuous flickering nature of mind is responsible for many of its impressions, depressions and distortions in our system. Once the thinking minds transforms into feeling mind a person becomes more peaceful and concentrated. This way, the intellect gains wisdom. Thereafter, instead of being confused in the infinite store of knowledge, your inner being guides you thoroughly. The discretion power of the self improves and a person evolves in a different way.
After attaining wisdom, our inner being awaits more. The next steps to evolution are in the chitt (consciousness) and ahankar (ego) which take us to the epitome of enlightenment. Wait to read what your inner being awaits in my next post. Till then, happy evolving!
